We work hard all week, every week. We take compassionate care of people with serious illnesses, people who are suffering and, sometimes dying. On Friday evening we decompressed at The Pour Farm, an old-time local bar and hang-out. We sang loudly and danced wildly with the
karaoke hostess. I took the photo, so no proof of my shenanigans! Let's just say I kept up with the 30-somethings! (For awhile, anyway.) It was a great night of celebrating life, letting loose for a few hours.

On Saturday we celebrated my son David's 30th birthday. How can he be 30 with a wife and baby of his own? How does that happen?
It was a great evening of celebrating life, enjoying a young man who has grown into a fine man and a kind and loving husband and father. He's always been a fine son!
