The MAGNIFICENT

As the title of my blog suggests, most of my posts are about the ordinary, routine events of daily life. Every once in a great while, I have something to report that meets my definition of MAGNIFICENT.

Does the image above give you any clues?  In my family we have "fertility feathers" that are passed around to any couple that we feel is next in line to add to the family tree.  They got started years ago when my sister-in-law was having trouble getting pregnant. My older sister had been living in Syria and brought home these magic feathers. She presented them to my sister-in-law at Christmas and twins were born before the next year was out.

In over 30 years of family history, they have not disappointed. That goes to show that this red-feathered underwear is based on solid evidence. My youngest son and daughter-in-law were presented with them a few years ago.
It took awhile for them to work their magic. (I suspect they weren't put to serious work until recently.) As usual, we got results. David and Jenilee are going to have a baby at the end of October--now that's MAGNIFICENT! The feathers have proved themselves once again and are destined to go down in the family history books. Yee-haw!
