Second Cousin, Once Removed

I had the pleasure of being a guest at a lovely wedding this past week-end.  The groom is my second cousin, once removed.  That means my mother and the groom's grandfather are first cousins.  My mother had a small family, so every cousin and second cousin  counts when it comes to family events! I was glad my mother and I were able to make the trip to Minneapolis to help represent the family. A good time was had by all, as every guest was treated like royalty--even second cousins once removed!
