Random Ramblings

Well, it was mostly a good week. Except for the time change. I do not like Daylight Savings Time. I prefer more light in the morning and less at night. You know, "early to bed and early to rise..." But, alas, it's much harder on toddlers who are in sleep training than it is on me! I got the joy of putting precious Eliza to bed on Saturday night. It was easy for me because the time change hadn't happened yet. We read two stories and boom, she was very sleepy and ready for bed.
We had played outside earlier so she had plenty of fresh air and was tired. So was I!
And we painted. It was a full day.

I got new glasses this week. That was a big event. The better to see you with!

My niece, Kelsey and her boyfriend, DJ, visited from Alaska. They both work in the oil fields on the North Slope.
Of course flannel is the style in Alaska!
