5 Things to do while we await the birth of our Granddaughter

Our 4th grandchild is due October 25th.  We are very anxiously awaiting this baby girl to enter our world. As the day gets closer, the waiting is harder!  We've found it's important to find things to keep us busy. (Many of them involve food.) I think we may be nesting grandparents! 
1. We made a big pot of hearty beef stew this week.

2.  We went fishing. 

3.  We got a puppy. Her name is Zena.  She keeps us extremely busy!
4.  We made apple pies.


5. I've been experimenting with the camera on my phone. Frightening, I know. Probably not the proper photo of a grandmother, but it is colorful!

    The last photo seemed quite appropriate. After all, you are a colorful grandmother, aren't you?! i don't know what I mean by that but it is meant to be complementary.
