September 15, 2013

Dear Diary,
This week the days have been bright, sunny, and warm.  The evenings have been crisp and cool.  Lenny and I wake more refreshed in the morning than we have for some time.  We're sleeping deep and long with the chilly breeze coming through the windows while we snuggle down in the blankets.
Saturday Mom and I drove to Bismarck for a baby shower for my son and daughter-in-law.  The baby is coming soon

We decorated onesies for each month of her first year.  Clever!
I made a  cozy flannel butterfly quilt for my new granddaughter.

Jenilee's mother gave her the darling crocheted dress that she wore as a child.  Priceless!
Great-Grandma Lucille made a dress from a 1950's era pattern.  Plenty of talent, creativity, and nostalgia in this combined family.
It was a fun party with a children's book theme, as Jenilee and David are avid readers and Jenilee is a librarian.

Now we wait for the baby! I hope she knows already how much she's loved.  ❤❤❤

Until next time, Pammy Jo
