The News From Whispering Pines

It's been a busy spring season at Whispering Pines.  The Brewers' changed the color of their home.It went from drab tan to rich red.  They feel like it blends well with the green pines and country setting. Luckily Kevin and his men were able to slap the new siding up on a week-end with sunshine and blue skies.

This past week-end Mrs. Brewer attended the High School Graduation of her neice, Devan, in Colorado Springs. There were many other family members who made the trip from North Dakota, Minnesota, Alaska, and Texas to help her celebrate. She is a warm and bright young woman who lights up any room she enters. Devan plans to attend Montana State University in Bozeman this fall.  Mrs. Brewer is proud to be her Auntie!

While Mrs. Brewer was in Colorado, Mr. Brewer was busy at home.  He planted the vegetable garden while the sun shone between rain storms on Sunday.  He put in corn, peas, beets, tomatoes, green peppers, cucumbers, squash, and pumpkins.  Mrs. Brewer will keep her dear, devoted readers posted on the garden's progress in the coming weeks and months.  A precious seed is also growing in Mrs. Brewers' daughter-in-law!  New life will soon be bursting everywhere!
