Is this the "slob" generation? I mean, really, several of the staff I work with are quite verbal and proud of the fact that they DO NOT own an iron. They pull their clothes out of the dryer and put them on. Now, I admit I do that too, but only if there are no wrinkles or unwanted creases. What ever happened to "crisply professional"? Not only do they not own irons, but they obviously don't have a needle and thread or the skill to hem up a pair of pants that are too long. Instead they come to work with their pant legs dragging along on the floor. What's up with that?! Have they no pride? I want to grab my bandage scissors from my pocket and hack off a few inches (and add the extra fabric to their neckline to cover up the exposed cleavage).I really should bring my iron and sewing machine to work with me. I'm quite sure I would have a waiting list of staff members wanting me to help them improve their professional image.
Doncha think?
I think that would be a dandy idea! You go, girl! OK, I can't really carry off the whole "you go, girl" thing but you get my gist.
