Salty Sal

Is this the "slob" generation? I mean, really, several of the staff I work with are quite verbal and proud of the fact that they DO NOT own an iron. They pull their clothes out of the dryer and put them on. Now, I admit I do that too, but only if there are no wrinkles or unwanted creases. What ever happened to "crisply professional"? Not only do they not own irons, but they obviously don't have a needle and thread or the skill to hem up a pair of pants that are too long. Instead they come to work with their pant legs dragging along on the floor. What's up with that?! Have they no pride? I want to grab my bandage scissors from my pocket and hack off a few inches (and add the extra fabric to their neckline to cover up the exposed cleavage).
I really should bring my iron and sewing machine to work with me. I'm quite sure I would have a waiting list of staff members wanting me to help them improve their professional image.
Doncha think?

  1. I think that would be a dandy idea! You go, girl! OK, I can't really carry off the whole "you go, girl" thing but you get my gist.
