I'm always looking for a bargain and when I saw that Wyoming Rose had clearance items, I took the bait and checked it out. I found a colorful and unique necklace that I decided I had to have. $9.00. Unbelievable. Just last week there was a magazine going around at work with "designer jewelry" for sale. The least expensive necklace was over $50.00--and that didn't include shipping and handling charges. Nothing I saw in that catalog was as charming as what's featured in Wyoming Rose Boutique--and their hand-crafted items are all one of a kind.
It came in the mail just a few days after I ordered it wrapped ever so carefully and with a touch of whimsy. I gave it a place on my dresser with my other jewelry pieces. This morning I was in a funk and didn't feel like getting dressed and going to church. Then I remembered, "I have a new necklace to wear!" Since my daily wardrobe is uniforms, it's a treat to dress up on Sunday. Maybe it's not the most noble motivation for attending church, but if it gets me in the pew to hear the message, who is to judge?!
OK, not the best self-portrait, but there was nobody home to take the photo!
Readers: Be sure to check out Wyoming Rose Boutique!
Wow, thanks for the write-up and I am so glad you like the scarf and necklace!
ReplyDeleteYou are such a sweet friend! Thank-you. The necklace looks great on you and as a pastor's wife, glad we could help get you to church! Ha! By the way, Mike & I went to Riverton today and as we went through Shoshoni we saw the patrolman's lights flashing as someone was speeding through the school zone. I always think of you when we go through Shoshoni!
ReplyDeleteSue-- I'm still miffed about that $300-- The officer didn't even care that I was on my way to give life-saving treatments to cancer patients!
