Random Ramblings 5.15.16

The extremely busy season is starting. The season where I need double the time I have. In North Dakota  everything happens in a few short months in the summer. The growing season is very short. The graduation, wedding, reunion, picnic, fishing, camping, gardening, etc... season happens in about 90 days. I can't keep up. This all happens along side a full time job. I want to be involved and have a life,  but I get exhausted when the sun shines until 10:30 at night. Anyway,  enough of my whining. Just had to get that off my chest. And move on. This week-end I had a work meeting in Chicago. Left on Friday and returned today.
Having a drink in the hotel bar with my cousin, Carolyn. She's a pharmacist at the CancerCenter and went with me to the meeting. We managed to have a good time, despite it being a work trip.
Got home at noon, took a nap and was out planting the garden by 4PM. Love digging in the dirt.
Lenny planted potatoes.
The cat wanted her photo taken as well! Isn't she regal?!

Stay tuned, my dear, devoted readers, to watch the progress of the garden as it grows.
