Easter was early this year. There was barely time to put away the shamrocks and 4 leaf clovers from St. Patrick's Day and out came the chocolate bunnies and pastel colored eggs. Now there's a long gap of time until July when the next holiday comes! Sacred days, holidays, birthdays; they're so important. They help to transform our ordinary lives by the performing of rituals that bind us together and create timelessness. It doesn't matter if it's Christmas or a birthday or Easter or the 4th of July or Father's Day. They're made Holy by family and friends joining together; having the ritual parade down main street, breaking bread and drinking wine at the communion table, eating birthday cake, singing familiar carols, or a BBQ with Dad. Celebrating life is what it's all about. With that said, following are some photos of our Easter Sunday 2016.

Alleluia. Really. I want to live an Easter life. Full of hope and anticipation of the future, even to death. Let it be so.
The precious Eliza on the hunt for Easter eggs.
I was baptized in this Font 60 years ago on Easter Sunday. It was built and hand-carved by my father's uncle, Conrad Grindberg.
Alleluia. Really. I want to live an Easter life. Full of hope and anticipation of the future, even to death. Let it be so.
Keep blogging.....we love your memories.
