The News From Whispering Pines

This past week-end Mr. and Mrs. Brewer motored to Fargo to visit their children and grandchildren. It was a beautiful autumn drive. The sun was shining bright on the red, yellow and orange leaves as they made their way from the rolling hills of Minot to the pancake flatness of the Red River Valley.

Mrs. Brewer enjoyed being Gramma-in-residence to Eliza while her son, David, and wife Jenilee went to dinner and a movie.

Miss Eliza loves the playground!

It was a quick trip. They always are. But Mr. and Mrs. Brewer made time for important things. Like hand-in-hand trips to the park to climb and swing, and Sunday morning in Grandpa's lap with a story about pumpkins.

As Mr. Brewer would say, "Now, that's livin'!" Mrs. Brewer would agree.
