September 13, 2015

Dear Diary,
It's been a fabulous week-end in North Dakota.
One of the mysteries of growing things in this part of the country is that just before the first frost, flowers and plants and crops are at their finest in vibrance and abundance. Nature teases us with a splash of the lavishness that only exits in the tropics and than "poof" it's gone after a one night stand with Jack Frost-that cold son of a gun!

Lenny and I took a drive in the country on Saturday and soaked up some of  the beauty.

You haven't really lived until you've been hoisted up onto a hay bale on the shoulders of your man! Oh baby...
So, just stay away for a few more weeks, Mr. Frost. We want to bask in some more of North Dakota's rare and spectacular beauty!
