Snowy Sunday Drive

Most Sunday mornings I pull sweats on over my pj's and Lenny and I jump in the car. We stop by Starbuck's for Vanilla Lattes and tune the radio to Bluegrass Gospel.

As Lenny says, "It's some of the finest music you'll ever hear". He's not a fan of new Christian music (by new I mean since about 1950!) It does nothing for him.

But he swoons while he taps his knee in time to Bill Monroe pickin' and singin' "Hallelujah I'm Ready" or Earl Scruggs playin' "Are You Washed In The Blood". We drive through car lots, check out new developments in town and cruise country roads.

Today everything was covered in a blanket of new snow. It was beautiful. I had my camera ready because I wanted to share the winter beauty with my dear, devoted readers.

Remember, people, it's North Dakota farm beauty!
