This photo looks like nurses having fun and hilarity on a slow day. What it actually portrays is nurses looking incredulous, saying, " You've got to be kidding me, you want us to use another new computer system?! On a Monday morning? With no prior training? What do you mean we can't take care of our patients without the proper log-in? Where do we get that log-in? We have to scan the patient's ID bracelet with a what? Is this a grocery store? What is that number for the IT help desk?"Maybe I'll go to work at a supermarket and scan oranges, green peppers, cartons of milk and cans of soup. If I'm not speedy and accurate the only casuality is a disgruntled customer.
For help and advice I'll go to my trusted mentor. What would Florence say? How would she handle this "paperless" system?
