What a fun day it was! Starting with a Vanilla Latte at Starbucks in the morning and ending with a big bowl of popcorn while watching fireworks on the deck late last night, it was a magnificent 4th of July. (If it sounds like I ate and drank my way through the day; well, I pretty much did!)

4th of July
Yesterday was the kind of day I wish could've lasted forever. Sunny blue sky, cool breeze, tubing on a lake with the boat, young and old relatives everywhere, burgers and brats on the grill, picnic tables stacked with baked beans, macaroni salads, fruit salads, bright pink watermelon and chips with dips. And coolers filled with ice cold beer! Truly a version of heaven here on earth.
