Snow Day

We woke up the day after Christmas to a continuation of this huge storm. All roads were blocked in and out of Minot, even in and out of our driveway! What to do on a snow day? I puttered around with cleaning and laundry then Mom and I got out a puzzle and began putting it together.





After a few hours Mom got cabin fever and headed out for a walk down the driveway. (She almost disappeared from sight with that white coat on!)

Lenny put together a pot of "Storm Day Bean Soup".



Daisy likes to romp in the snow, but not for too long! Her little legs won't let her go very far in this deep snow. It's a good thing she has dark ears or she'd be lost!


We were thankful to be cozy and warm inside with plenty of food. In fact, this could be a ten pound Christmas-Yikes!
