Saturday and a Flea Market

What better way to spend a cloudy Saturday than pawing through a Flea Market? Lenny and I both enjoy sifting through other people's junk to find our treasures. He likes old LP records. Artists like Loretta Lynn, Tammy Wynette, Hank Williams, Hank Snow,Hank Thompson(anyone named Hank), George Jones. Come over anytime and be entertained by the Montgomery Ward turntable spinning records on full blast sound!

I look for CHEAP things that are cool. Oftentimes, it's a blast from the past I'm looking for. Not to buy, just to see something that takes me back to my childhood, or my children's childhood. You know, Master's of the Universe lunch boxes or the Fisher Price Farmyard with the barn door that makes a mooing sound when it's opened. Or from my childhood, the tin Saltine cracker container or Nancy Drew Mysteries. It's timelessness I'm looking for. I like to surround myself with things that have a history, a story to tell.
