I'm going to write a few words while I wait for my favorite TV show to start. I really like NCIS. There is always a captivating story line, I like the characters, there is enough suspense to keep me engaged and enough of a human story to keep my interest. I do get frustrated with the show when the plot gets very convoluted with the CIA, FBI, Navy, Army, and they all go to Afghanistan. And there could be a touch more romance. But, as a TV show in this century, it's not bad.
I've been training to walk 10K in the Fargo Marathon on May 21. It was on my bucket list for when I reached the magical age of 60. I didn't want to say anything until I was pretty sure I could do it. After training for about 8 weeks now, I've walked 10K twice. I've been following a couch to 10K training schedule. After sitting at desk jobs for 2 years I decided it was time to MOVE!
We're going to Bozeman, Montana this week-end for my niece, Devan's, college graduation. She's the last of my mother's nine grandchildren to earn a college degree. Woo-hoo! That's a whole bunch 'a book learnin'! So proud of them all.
There will be more to follow with stories and photos!
