I've had this latest job now for 6 months. While I have enjoyed most of the new responsibilities, I miss close contact with patients. I'm mostly a desk/computer nurse now. That's not usually where I get job satisfaction. A few weeks ago I was very close to putting on gray scrubs again and taking care of chemo patients. I still may go that direction. It's hard for me to sit at a desk. I can feel my butt growing. But I like wearing pretty clothes! I know, I should have this figured out by this stage in my life. I don't.
