The News From Whispering Pines

On Good Friday Lenny and I drove to Park Rapids, MN. The sky was overcast and the landscape was brown and gray. It looked and felt more like fall than spring! But the roads were clear and dry so the trip was uneventful. We were there to attend the funeral of Lenny's cousin, Chuck Long. We stayed at a Bed and Breakfast, The Red Bridge Inn on Fish Hook River. It was quaint and cozy, full of antiques and interesting nooks and crannies.
I tried out the 19th century fainting couch!
After the funeral we drove to Fargo to spend Easter with our families. Saturday night Gage and Sadie came over to play with Eliza. She loved the attention!
Early Sunday morning the Easter Bunny came to visit the Kanenwisher's.
Eliza had her very first Easter Egg Hunt!
After all the colored eggs were gathered in her basket we went to IHOP for waffles, pancakes, bacon and eggs then headed back home to Whispering Pines.
