Dear Diary,

I haven't written to you for awhile. I've been busy. Summer packs nine months of activity into three months. There is gardening and fishing and camping and weddings and reunions and mowing and barbecuing and outdoor theatre and daylight until 10PM, just to name a few! And besides that, a job.  It's all fun stuff, but squeezed into the flash of a North Dakota summer it can be overwhelming. Then, a blank slate, until Thanksgiving!  Although this year we have two glorious events occurring in October.  My nephew is getting married on October 25, and we have a granddaughter due to come into the world on that very same date!  Just maybe I'll be able to relax in September....
