To my dear, discerning readers,
In the next weeks to months you may grow weary of looking at photos of our garden and the produce it is generating. We are so thrilled and proud of our project. You'd think we the first people to ever grow a garden! We nurture, protect, and admire it as if it were a child. Is this our middle age showing itself? Tonight I noticed some beets pushing up out of the dirt that looked big enough for harvesting. It worked out well that Lenny was out of town because it was barely enough for a small side dish for me. But, dang, they were good. A foretaste of the feast to come.
Oh, they look so yummy!
