When I awoke this morning and all throughout the day I was sure I'd been taken up to heaven yesterday in the rapture. (For those who aren't aware of the rapture, please "Google" it.) First of all, there right beside me in bed was my dear, sweet husband. Thank goodness he was "raptured", too! It was a bright, sunny day with only a slight cool breeze. I didn't have to go to work and could spend the day as I wanted. If that's not heaven, I don't know what is. I chose to dig in the black dirt and plant some flowers. I've been dreaming about my flower garden for months and with the bad weather on earth this spring, I hadn't been able to do anything outside. Here in heaven it was a perfect spring day for outdoor activities. Just the kind of day I'd imagined heaven would perpetually be.
God must've been expecting me because there were even pretty, pink tulips bloomimg. (Looks like there's dandelions in heaven...oh well.)
I was relieved to see that the pets made the trip with us. How could it be heaven without Missy and Daisy?
After a most pleasant day spent in the yard, my brother Darrel invited us over for thick, juicy burgers cooked on the grill. (He made the cut, too.) It was a feast fit for, well, fit for heaven. It was a heavenly day in every way. (Aren't you glad there's blogging in heaven?)
I laughed for quite awhile about your recent post. Great writing! Thank you.
