Locating Lenny

My dear husband, Lenny, travels many miles a week over the roads of northwest North Dakota and eastern Montana. I fret about bad roads and careless drivers but I never have to wonder about his whereabouts. Thanks to on-line banking he leaves electronic traces behind at restaurants and convenience stores and motels. I can turn on my computer when I get home from work and see where he's been. He left Tuesday morning and I've been following his travels ever since. According to banking records, after he kissed me good-bye he stopped at Hardees for a Low Carb Breakfast Bowl. He traveled on down the road and it looks like he stopped at the Better Be Cafe in Newtown for lunch. Later that afternoon he must've been at a Loaf N Jug in Fairview, ND for a snack and maybe a 5 hour energy drink. On to Williston for supper at Lonnie's Roadhouse (I hope that's a restaurant!). He must've stayed at the Super 8 in Williston and then been on his way Wed. morning to Sidney, MT where he had lunch at the M&M Cafe. And later, supper at the La Fiesta in Sidney. This morning he got up and drove to Watford City. He may have had a yummy lunch of warmed over bratwurst at the Kum and Go in Watford City. Tonight my records show he ate supper at The Dakotan, still in Watford City. Now, I think I'm smart and savvy but I realize he could've had a buddy use his debit card at all of these places to lead me off the trail of his true destination. Do you think he drove to Florida and is hiding in the backwoods? I wouldn't blame him. It's been a never-ending brutal winter for driving. Much of his time has been spent with white-knuckle, gut-wrenching driving conditions. So when my banking sources show he's back in the area and stopping at MarketPlace Foods to bring home a steak for supper, I breathe a big sigh of relief.

  3. I love the M&M cafe in Sidney and have some fond memories of going there for coffee and donuts and a cigarette after my aerobics class!

  4. My dear sister--Those were the good old days when you could smoke in a restaurant--maybe you still can in Montana! :)
