Sweet, Simple Things

It's one of those days when I feel compelled to list my Sweet, Simple Things because life seems so good. Life certainly is not without plenty of pain and suffering, but for today, the good wants to outweigh the bad. With that said, here is my list:

1. Sitting on the deck after a rain storm and watching a rainbow color the sky over Whispering Pines.

2. My mini-flower garden finally bursting into bloom.

3. A simple evening meal of Bourbon Salmon and Asparagus.

4. Taking Daisy for an evening walk while raindrops sprinkled on us.

5. Learning that friends from Wyoming are coming to visit in August!

6. My son, David, being recruited for a job with an innovative software company. (I'm so proud of him!)
