Crazy 4U, Be My Valentine

When my Grandpa Melvin died, these Valentines were found among his papers. My Aunt Ardy thought I should have them as my birthday is on Valentine's Day. Aren't they precious?
I feel honored to be trusted with this piece of family history. It's fascinating to me to think that 75 or so years ago these Valentines were sent and received. The world has changed so much, but in some ways, so little. We still care deeply about one another and want them to know it. Whether that be a text message or a letter with a stamp, the message is the same: I Love you and I want to tell you. That's what Valentine's Day is all about- for my Grandpa Melvin many years ago and for me today.
