Dear Diary,
Lenny and I went camping this week-end at Fort Stevenson on Lake Sakakawea. We got up early Saturday morning and spent several hours packing up the myriad of supplies it takes to camp in a tent for 24 hours! We were joined at the campground by Rob and Sherie, friends of ours that we met through Lenny's job at TrainND. We had beautiful North Dakota June weather. The temp was in the 70's with a light breeze. I feel like I was able to relax deeply, even if it was only for a few hours. These past 12 months have taken quite a bit of energy. I learned one new complex job and now I'm learning another! My brain is stretched thin. I have to take my own advice and put one foot in front of the other, one day at a time. But for now, this week-end, I chilled out at a campground on Lake Sakakawea with my man and new friends.
