Today was the day--my yearly mammogram. The above cartoon is absolutely correct. My breasts were put in a vise grip, flattened and squeezed very tight. Luckily, they bounced back (no pun intended). The very kind technician had no hint of worry in her voice or on her face so I think I'm home free for another year. I don't take this for granted. Breast cancer is very real and can be very deadly. Have you had your mammogram this year?
