On Wednesday Mr. and Mrs. Brewer motored to Bismarck to board a jet plane to bring them to California for a Thanksgiving celebration with their west coast relatives. It proved to be quite a long day in airports and on various planes. Although, things went quite smoothly considering it was the busiest travel day of the year. They arrived in San Francisco on time, luggage and all. After being picked up curbside by brother-in-law Steve and son Sam they were taken to sister LuAnn's home where they were greeted by LuAnn Aakhus, Devan Lang, Lucille Loftesnes, Sophia Kanenwisher and Parker Kanenwisher. Parker was so happy to see Gramma that after being held and swayed in the soothing "monkey hold" for a few minutes he fell into a deep sleep. Beverages and snacks were served and enjoyed by all. Stimulating conversation and laughter continued for several hours until the weary travelers, ( 2 time zones out of sync),could barely keep their eyes open. All retired to bed with eager anticipation of the feast to be prepared tomorrow. Photos will most certainly follow in the next post from "News from Whispering Pines, On the Road".
