The News from Whispering Pines

Wednesday evening Pam Brewer motored out to the Darrel Loftesnes home for a back-to school family dinner in honor of her nephew and neice, Wade and Whitney. Wade will be moving back to Grand Forks to start his 3rd year at the University of North Dakota. Whitney will be starting her 3rd year at Minot State University.
In attendance were Grandma Lucy, Uncle Stan, Darrel and Teresa, Eli, Wade, Whitney, and myself.


Whitney and Eli shared a dessert of strawberries(from Teresa's garden) and whipped cream served over Angel Food Cake.


The table grew silent as we each chomped contentedly on sweet corn from Grandma Lucy's garden.



An enjoyable evening was had by all. We wish the youngsters all the best in their studies as they start the 2009-10 school year.
