It's July 28th, exactly one month until our grandson is due to come wailing into this world. I am beginning to feel the nesting instinct myself--weird, I know. The baby is in California, so it will have to be long-distance nesting. But anything is possible in this century with cyberspace and all. I'm all set up with my webcam and Skype. I can sing a lullaby every night and have it go sailing across the miles in real time. I'm brushing up on my old stand-bys.............
Hush, little baby, don't you cry, grandma's gonna sing you a lullaby..............Twinkle, Twinkle, little star, how I wonder what you are..................You are my sunshine, my only sunshine, you make me happy when skies are gray, you'll never know dear how much I love you............and so on.

Since I'm a "bookie" and a regular at Barnes and Noble, when I saw this book I had to have it. I even bought the stuffed bunny that matches the bunny in the story. I just know the baby will be pleased. I hope someday he'll know how much he's loved, even before he was born.
Any suggestions for lullabies to practice on? (I can sing to the bunny.)
