It turns out we're not supposed to wash our hair every day. It ruins it, takes out the sebum. That's the natural oil our hair follicles produce. Good-bye Breck girl, so long Herbal Essence orgasms!
The power that clever marketing campaigns have to drive our behavior is frightening. Just how much of what I do and what I buy on a daily basis is because I've been manipulated by advertising? Corporations have their finger right on the pulse of the individual, group, and societal psyche at all times. They're able to react almost instantly when a change takes place in their market. Notice how long it took for most ads to be about saving, budgets, cutting back? All the while they're selling us things we don't need?
I don't particularly like to wash my hair every day, anyway. I'm inherently lazy, and not washing my hair in the morning gives me a few extra minutes to read a page or two in a book!

This is the best I could do for news today, as I don't wish to discuss AIG's million-dollar bonuses.
